Maiduguri is located in Nigeria on latitude 11 40N and 11 44' and longitude 130 05'E and 13 14 E. It covers a total area of 543 sq Km.

What country is your selected Place located in?

Nigeria. Located at the extreme inner corner of the Gulf of Guinea on the west coast of Africa, Nigeria occupies an area of 923,768 sq. Km

Describe your relationship to the place you’ve selected.

It is largest city in northeastern conner of Nigeria, with highest population and large land area and am an indigene by birth 

Describe the People and Place: Provide information that would be helpful for an outsider who has never been there and may have no context about this Place to better understand the area.

Because is my father land and also my family are also the indigene of the place

Challenges: Describe the current (2020) and the future (2050) challenges that your food system faces.

Current Challenge ,hunger,Malnutrition , unemployment and future Over Population.

Address the Challenges: Describe how your Vision will address the challenges described in the previous question.

Provision of Farm implement and mechanized farming system by supporting of pesticides and Herbicides.

High Level Vision: With these challenges addressed, now provide a high level description of how the Place and the lives of its People will be different than they are now.

Until and when boko haram insurgence had been taken care_off in those affected palace, then the people will be able to settled and overcome their problems of food wastage, t boost food or agricultural production and They become adequately equip with farm implement and be agar to cultivate many hectares of land.

They may become nutritional and financially stable by the 2050 vision

Full Vision: How do you describe your Vision for a regenerative and nourishing food future for your Place and People for 2050?

Environment , its the first important theme in my vision because without piece of land a farmer couldn't intend to cultivate , soil fertility ,crop type ,climatic factor also made into the consideration in the Vision.   

Diets; I the immediate need of human therefore its paramount to improve plants and animals origin diet by supporting enlightening the individual farmers on the farming improved crop, varieties and potential breed of Animal.

Economic ; In this aspect efficiency in use of herbicide , pesticide , rodenticide , and other expenses  must be recorded.

People in Borno State must of them practicing Islamic religion and Kanuri Culture 

Technology ; Is the advance knowledge of improved farming System in large area which use to maximize the production 

Agricultural policy guide and avoid indiscriminal use of herbicide  and produce transportation e .t .c

Around 2.7 million people in the Borno state are projected to be food insecure and considered to be facing crisis or emergency situations. This represent a significant improvement from 3.7 million (Nov 2017) due to the delivery of food and nutrition assistance as well as livelihoods support: improve security conditions which has allowed for farming and market activities in some locations ;and favourable climatic conditions for farming. nevertheless, the food security and nutrition situations remain extremely fragile particularly in  Borno state, and IDPs  state that food is their largest unmet need. Large populations  in the North East remain on humanitarian assistance to meet their food and cooking energy needs.
