Describe your relationship to the place you’ve selected.

I am an Egyptian citizen who lives on  Egyptian land. Also, Egypt will suffer in the coming period due to the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam from a problem in food and the availability of water sources. Besides, I work as a lecturer at the university in the Department of Industrial Designs so, I must help in solving my country’s problem.

Describe the People and Place: Provide information that would be helpful for an outsider who has never been there and may have no context about this Place to better understand the area.

The Arab Republic of Egypt is distinguished by the diversity of its water resources, as it has the River Nile and overlooks the Red and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as a group of lakes, which makes it a suitable place for that experience.

Decreasing water resources

Address the Challenges: Describe how your Vision will address the challenges described in the previous question.

By developing the farming system using floating agricultural units that work to take advantage of the evaporated water from the water bodies besides setting up a system to reduce the volume of evaporation from the plant and protect from insects and pests, it will work to secure the state's food needs, for example, if one meter was used in the Nile in Egypt It is possible to grow more than 600 km square of different crops without the need for water resources, besides I have another design still Under observation, it is possible to cultivate on saltwater.


High Level Vision: With these challenges addressed, now provide a high level description of how the Place and the lives of its People will be different than they are now.

By solving the problem of agriculture, especially in coastal areas that lie on the Red and Mediterranean Sea in Egypt, obstacles to building urban communities and developing those areas can be removed.

Full Vision: How do you describe your Vision for a regenerative and nourishing food future for your Place and People for 2050?

my idea depends on using natural material for Agriculture, it two ways one way for natural water and another for salty water and still under trying.
