Some of the interests and wishes of the aging people include;

-Smart self-financial help service designed in an easy and efficient system.

-Assurance of financial stability/security

-Quick and authentic response from financial advisors/bankers

Therefore, a well-designed All-in one financial package specifically for the 50+ age group can be created to cover/offer their most needed financial services easily.


  1. Development:

The All-in-one financial package can be embedded in a simple software tool or application with a simple user interface in different international languages including English, Spanish, French and Chinese to be used on various platforms including Laptops, Desktops, I pads, Notepads and Mobile Smart phones.

The name of the app can be called “Mymoney”.

However, security/encryption has is crucial during the development and official use of the app to ensure that the clients are able to use it with trust.

What the “Mymoney” app should/can offer:

Banking information/services: Online Transactions and account activity.

Insurance services or help concerning claims.

Retirement income planning and budgeting information/services.Help section termed as “ASK US ANYTHING” to ensure that support is offered 24/7 whenever needed about anything.

  1. Ensuring a dedicated teller/service provider in Banking Halls.

A dedicated Teller for the 50+ age group can be advocated for in all banks and other financial institutions to ensure special assistance in various finance disciplines, including banking, tax advisory, retirement schemes and retirement income budgeting.

  1. Establishing Retirement-benefit Clubs:

Retirement-benefit Clubs can be established by various financial groups especially banks to enable people in the 50+ age group benefit even when they are no longer in active business/career practice.

In those clubs, income generating schemes can be initiated while offering aged care financial advice, assistance about mortgages and budgeting tools.

The Smart App called "MYmoney" can be inspire others during this challenge.

Hi Jospeh! Thank you for your post and for reaching out to me. I would recommend talking to the over-fifties to find out the key essentials of what they want from the app/website. Identify the pain points for them. Then draw some rough sketches of how the app/website would work and keep getting feedback on it. There are some research posts in this challenge that might be a good source of inspiration for you.
