Who is your idea designed for and how does it support the dreams and obligations of those 50 and older?

This idea is for someone interested in non-profit work and business after the age of 55

I interviewed someone else with the idea that was generated from another group. Feel free to give it a listen. I still have access to these people I interview so please let me know if I can do a better job with the interviewing.

This interview is approximately 33 min. Disregard the last three min :)

you can listen here.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

I can set up a meeting free of charge to collect the ideas of people aged 50 and older from my church community.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

If I can get better questions to ask, and other things to think of that would be really helpful.

Tell us about your work experience:

Hi I'm a package designer. I create instruction sheets for manufacturing and retail - point of purchase displays. I've had experience working for a local bank in my community for a year, and caring for people with special needs.

Please check all that apply:

  • I'm not currently involved in a credit union, but am curious to learn more!

This idea emerged from

  • A group brainstorm
  • A student collaboration

Nice! I like the idea of someone gathering the ideas of community members. Very cool.

Hi Keshna, interesting post! Any chance you could find an image to go along with it? Images help grab attention and tell a story. You should be able to use the Edit Contribution button on the top of your post and follow the instructions to add images from there. Looking forward to seeing more of your inspiring insights on OpenIDEO.
