Financial literacy is a problem for many Americans. Some of us just don't know how to take advantage of all the resources that are available. What if we created social clubs that encourage appropriate financial management? What if there is a financial social club that helps members of the social clubs to find financial resources, motivate each other to stick to their financial plans, and encourage the members of the social club to seek others to help? The social club can meet once a week to talk about and learn from each other how they managed their finances. Members who have been there can do a better job in leading them out of the financial problems. Others will be more accepting of the advice and motivation. The financial social club members can even pull together small funds to help each other in a more caring and personal manner. Let's call this the Financial Watchers program.
