What stories can you share from your own experience of building financial capability – or your community’s strengths – that might enhance our understanding of the challenge question?

I feel that you need to teach young adults that its important to have a credit card but use it wisely. I have friends in their mid-20s that don't have credit cards, I think our generation is scared of using them being that we grew up in the financial crisis.

Who have you turned to in seeking financial knowledge and access?

My Bank. I send them emails asking questions on my finances to build my knowledge. Ask friends and family on advice.

How does your community support its members in inclusive and empowering ways?

I feel that my community lacks the support need for its member. We have a large population of immigrants that would rather keep their money at home than bring it to a bank.
