The suits are so impervious that they can cause problems.

According to an NPR article the PPE suits are extremely effective when it comes to deterring liquids from getting onto the workers skin. It just is tricky to take the suit off. When you take the suit off it is easy to get the virus on your hands, which then can be easily transferred into your ears, mouth, eyes, or nose. Supposedly there are new suits that are impervious to liquid in the front, while breathable material is in the back for some comfort.
