Ebola virus disease (EVD) has heavily influenced on people’s life.  The average EVD case fatality rate is around 50%. Case fatality rates have varied from 25% to 90% in past outbreaks. Therefore, the increasing experts begin to analyze EVD and want to find out solutions.

1. How does Ebola spread throughout a community?
People can be infected by direct contacting with the blood or bodily secretions of an infected individual or from infected objects like a needle. In addition, EVD is not able to be transmitted through the air. Therefore, avoiding contact with pathogen can prevent EVD.

2. The most effective vitamin for viral infections and disease prevention
Control of communicable diseases is insufficient. According to Dr. Levy, “Ebola is really an ordinary virus that causes extraordinary pathology in people with a poor nutritional status and a lack of significant antioxidant stores in their bodies. In addition “when addressed in the first few days to a week of a significant exposure or a clinical infection, an aggressive regimen of vitamin C can be expected to routinely resolve the infection and eliminate the virus from the body.” This shows that Vitamin C can against EVD to some degrees. Thus, people should focus on the intake of Vitamins C.
