Silk Cocoon

With contaminated suit, you enter the "cocoon" which is a plastic sleeve, the "opener" is enabled and comes without risk of contamination. You may apply antiseptic solution inside the cocoon. Suit, gloves and boots are within the cocoon.

Dear Raul,

since I saw your proposal the first time, I do not stop thinking about it. Sometimes I think, that cannot work. Then I think, don´t be silly, sometimes good ideas are difficult to understand in the beginning.

Maybe I understand it better if you try to put more detail into your contribution. Or do you know of examples, where this principle is used and works?

Did you try it with a puppet? Are there geometrical problems?

I cannot tell, how to assess your idea. In the moment I concentrate on ideas where I think, that they can be realized in a few month. So I concentrated on other topics. This is not a statement about your idea, I had just no time to think about it thoroughly in the moment.

A part of the suit has a filter that allows gas exchange. Upon entering the "cocoon" should be no problem. But considering your question, inside the suit may be included CO2 uptake system.

could also integrate a UV disinfecting light tunnel ?

ofcourse , in the access tunnel to the cocoon can be used multiple methods of sterilization, UV light is a good proposal.
