Interviewed NYC people

The "fear" of fall is bigger and prevalent even in people who haven't had a fall themselves.

What is a provocation or insight that might inspire others during this challenge?

People, with increasing age, are being very cautious to step out of their homes or else they want to be accompanied by someone. While conversing with them I realized that they are very concerned about not injuring their head, hips and knees.

Tell us about your work experience:

I am an NYU graduate student with deep interest in looking at a problem from end-consumer's point of view, which led me to take up Design Thinking class as part of my curriculum.

Attached is a set of interviews I had with people who have fallen and the kind of solution they would agree to to prevent any more falls.

Hi Sanjana!

Thank you for conducting these interviews. They are extremely insightful. I agree with Anne-Laure. A few interesting quotes from the interviews in the main body of your post would help people glancing over the submissions quickly understand your learnings from this exercise. :-)

Also, is there any chance you could find an image to go along with your post? Images help grab attention and tell a story. You should be able to use the Edit Contribution button on the top of your post and follow the instructions to add images from there. Looking forward to seeing more of your inspiring insights on OpenIDEO.
