Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

(1) An individual preplanning to relieve the burden from their family or a family with a loved one in hospice. (2) There is a complete lack of transparency and ease when researching options and pricing for a burial or cremation. Individuals are forced to call or go into a funeral home as an uneducated buyer. Halolife allows families to plan at their own speed, their own time and own home while educating themselves on the best fit for a cremation or burial service.

(1) Choose a cremation or burial service type. 

(2) Sort and select a funeral home by price location and reviews. 

(3) Complete your service details - answering questions that are only relevant to the service type you selected.

The family will end up with a quote and all the paperwork associated with the burial or cremation. 


What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

(1) Pilot program with a hospice at Sutter. (2) Working with IDEO designers + beta testers (55-75 yr. old) to refine product
