Battling the silent killer

I almost died recently, so I am currently working on a personal plan to keep my blood pressure down.

During the holidays, my BP shoot up and I thought I was going to die. I sought medical help, so I had tests showing high levels of cholesterol and sugar in my blood. I was asked to exercise, lower my fat, salt and oil intake... But how? And what is appropriate for me? There was so much literature so I had to customize and personalize my own battle plan. I'm on my 3rd week. So far my BP has been normal, but I'm still experimenting.
