Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

With dementia, alzheimers, mobility challenges - the world gets smaller for people at end of life. Ways to connect out based on 5 senses - sending out a hug to others, making a donation for a cherished cause, connecting with nature by sample and by virtual means.

Wanting to use a sensory ritual to keep connection to other people, to the outside world, to the feeling of being able to still contribute.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

Sending out a real/virtual hug - my mother kept a hug bank and would collect/give hugs to everyone she knew.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

Expand on the ways to build connection through sensory interactions.
