happiest moments are the spring time moments in my garden.
Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?
This idea allows the individual to connect with nature and the Soul. I never forget the feeling of warm spring soil between the toes and experiencing the joy one feels when you plant the first vegetable(s) connecting with the earth or the pride one feels as you pick that first tomato. Grant me the quiet peacefulness and completeness I feel when I sit in the Garden with the warmth of the sun on my face and my senses filled with the smells sounds and tastes nature has to offer.
The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also." -- Harriet Ann Jacobs
What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?
I have seen many alzhemiers patient resopond positivly to the gardens and birds and nature at lake merrit. To me that is a experiement itself....Lakeside park residence.
What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?
