Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

For people above middle age as well as anyone who wants to alleviate the financial burden as well as the materials attachment.

Often people accumulate material things over the years.  Instead of postmortem, the liquidation of material goods and assets can go toward the necessary care and expenses.  People can choose either financing through the material goods while still having them around or opt to liquidate at specific time.  By converting material goods to liquid asset/currency, one can live lighter and with less worry.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

People can submit whichever goods they'd like to give up with an online form. It's similar to a donation process where a service provider can come pick up the items.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

There needs a centralized service to compile all the goods to clearing house such as eBay or auction house to put everything on the market.
