Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

My idea will address denial, accessibility & awareness problems as well as the lack of a human-shaped service within the domain of EOL, by facilitating a co-creation workshop with the targeted audience. The Workshop is the service intended to start a general conversation about the topic in a safe space as well as focus on the pain points in the current journey and possible design solution. Therefore these workshops are intended for the design community, the thinkers and the makers living in it.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

I've already user tested my co-creation workshop with three design studios. The workshops generated interest, curiosity and smart, sensible solutions. From my experience in the past year, I found that this topic genuinely intrigues people, and if given the right conditions, they will share their personal experiences and wishes.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

Well, since I assume the OpenIDEO platform is part of my intended audience, I think it can bring a lot of value, knowledge and insight when it comes to the clarity, the flow and the content of the workshop. Hearing feedback and user testing it can help my idea grow.

Tell us about your work experience:

I've been a designer for the past 7 years, working in the field of UX & service design. As a practicing user experience, I'm constantly concerned with the usability of things, building digital experiences for banks, telco, analytic companies & helping small businesses grow.
