Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

The idea is for anyone that wishes to do, see, experience or live something that for some reason or another they have not been able to do. A lot of people regret missing out on a lot of things, you don't have to wait until the end to start crossing things off your bucket list. this community would help you live a more fulfilled life reaching the end happier, wiser, and with more internal peace.

Create a community where everyone shares their Bucket List.  The database would allow people with similar interests get connected.

  • You could build a group of people and get better prices or discounts.
  • You could see someone that has done what you wish to do and ask them for help.
  • You could try crowdfunding, bartering, and refine your idea or experience even more.

I think it would also be useful for advertisers and service companies as they could provide deals and advertising to specific groups that are looking for services in their area of expertise.  There could be sponsorship in exchange for recording the experience in social media.

There could also be a paid "membership" service, where your money goes to an investment fund to be used in an "ultimate" list item or that would be given back to the person you pick if you don't use it before your time comes.

In order to create an active community, there could be incentives  for people that help others, that complete and share their bucket list item, you get credits for signing you will or getting any other affair in order.

In the end is create a community that might make those items that seem to daunting to take on, possible.

When your time comes, you will have a treasure trove of memories and feel that you have lived life to the fullest

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

Ask people to prepare a 5-10 item bucket list, compile it, and identify opportunities to make some of these items attainable by negotiating better prices, finding connections that might make it easier.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

Use IDEO's experience and know how on creating an active community and analyzing complex lists, findiong creative solutions for some these items.
