This is a theme exhibition about thinking our funeral. Visitors can feel the moment of death in advance through trying to sleep in a special paper coffin. People can not only feel whether is comfortable to sleep in the paper coffin, but also the designer will ask you to think about the true meaning of live and death after entering into the coffin and experienced your own funeral. After lying into the coffin, and the coffin lid screwed down, the piano music will be played in the dark. Visitors will watch a video and reflect on the meaning of death. In the video, a funeral dresser is quietly makeup for the "dead". After that, the coffin has been sent to the cemetery. In this time, there will be a voice in the coffin saying that "please close your eyes and think if we can witness our own funeral after death, have you thought about how to arrange and who you wish to invite to attend? Now, please open your eyes…” At this time, a question will be demonstrated on the screen: "How are you going do next…? "

It is a good point. I guess  sleeping in a special paper coffin can help people to think and feel the death, but it is not enough. It just a part of death. In my mind, a complete funeral ceremony may better, and is helpful of feeling more of the death.

Hi Yue, thanks for your suggestion! Yes, a ceremony would be better, which can have a full feeling. But the cost to hold a complete funeral ceremony is a bit high i think, so if there are so many people interested in this, maybe we can try to make a ceremony.
