Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

Anybody - children as well as adults, as an adapted children version of the book would be intended to make them more comfortable with the fact that death is natural and part of life. This certainly does not help bring the old topic of dying closer to the new technologies, uses and practices of our digital world. This is all about more restoring ancient values that might have got lost in a world that is sometimes ruled more by techno, rather than human values.

The book would be mostly based on pictures. It would not show the different post-death rituals through the world, as these are well know. It would rather try to capture the atmosphere of the pre-dying moment, the spiritual and philosophical principles behind the scene, and the human relationships between individuals.

What skills, input or guidance from the OpenIDEO community would be most helpful in building out or refining your idea?

Maybe that book already exists : that would be good to know...

Agree. I started an illustrated caregivers book that is filled with pictures and images that help evoke creativity around the process.Something light hearted and inspirational as well as being practical. Of course the book is sitting unfinished. Might be a good collaborative project.

Hi Peggy,
Good to know that you started something already. I believe that believe being nice can not be the only purpose of the book. It has to be practical as well. So thanks for your input.
Having a collaborative work process is also the best way to get insights and materials from every end of the world. Where are you based ?
Thanks
