Who is your idea designed for and how does it reimagine the end-of-life experience?

For those interested in "green" alternatives to traditional casket burials.

Bio-cremation is chemical vs flame cremation. It was featured on a morning radio show here in Ottawa Canada this morning. Here's a link to the story.

From a "green" perspective, this bio-cremation process uses only 1/8 of the energy of traditional flame cremation, according to the local manager of Aquagreen Transitions.

What early, lightweight experiment might you try out in your own community to find out if the idea will meet your expectations?

Tell us about your work experience:

I spent a year assisting a 95 year female cousin navigate her final year on earth. I believe I gained some very valuable and transferable skills and knowledge during her final year. Many transitions during the year; decision to move from private residence to assisted living and finally to hospice.
