What problem does your innovation solve?
Students can study anytime, anywhere with these redesigned and self-sufficient textbooks. The QR technology makes the textbook a built in Classroom, Practical Lab, Coaching centers and Private Tutor itself, with no extra money, hassle or difficulty. So in Emergency Situations, they just need to have a smartphone or tablet device to get everything they need to study. Apart from that the newly designed contents helps to make them critical thinkers and change-makers.

In Bangladesh there are mainly two kinds of emergency situations: Natural Disaster And Political Unrest.For female students there are something else even more emergency than these two: Eve Teasing,Abduction,Rape and Social Violence.All these problems combined demands for a feasible solution for students in emergency that doesn't cost them money,extra hassle or don't require to go out of their home for studying.So we thought of redesigning the major study tool in Bangladesh,The Text-Books, to make it self sufficient learning tool covering all the learning matrices.It will not only ensure access to learning but also enhance the way learning is perceived and done in Bangladesh and foster the greater outcome of learning itself.We took help from Quick Response Technology (QR) so that the students can access quality learning just with one click.We consider four major areas where the QR codes will be printed in every chapters of the text Book.

Existing Text-Book in Bangladesh are one dimensional. They are not (but could be) a self sufficient way of academic learning. So students need to go to Private Tutors, Coaching Centers, and take help from Guide Books which aren't available during emergency situations. Sometimes even without emergency, students cannot afford this expensive mediums of learning due to poverty and lack of infrastructure. A huge no of students doesn't have access to practical labs due to country's poor infrastructure
Our Proposed Textbooks with QR codes can replace the existing major learning platforms in Bangladesh like: Classrooms, Practical Labs (Physical), Private Tutors, Coaching Centers & Guide Books which are impossible to avail during emergency situations. Also it will inspire students to study with critical reasoning and knowing the implementation fields.

3) PRACTICAL LAB - Videos to provide practical experience using Infographs, Animation, Motion graphics and VFX

All these things will require a one time investment with a comparatively simple technology which is described in the 'Innovation Design Blueprint'
The major beneficiaries of this innovation are Students in Emergency Situations and Female Students. But once the technology is implemented it will benefit every single student of the country who cannot afford to avail expensive learning mediums like Guide Books, Coaching Centers, Private Tutors etc. Also the disadvantaged regions of the country where schools don't have proper practical labs or digital classrooms can be highly benefited from this innovation.

What are some of your unanswered questions about the idea?
We have already done our need analysis through 1000 'SURVEYS' within the core stakeholders, Students, Parents, Teachers.From that we have easily reaffirmed the 'NEED ANALYSIS'.The 'TECHNOLOGY PROTOTYPE' is built and consulted with experts in this field.We developed the 'LOG FRAME, articulated the 'ACTIVITY PLAN' and the 'PROJECT BUDGET'.We have also built and in the process of building further more in-country support and collaborators.My team being enough experienced in project implementation and equally visionary like me I am fully confident that we can pull this nationwide project with utmost success.
All bases being covered, the only thing that keeps me awake at night is how fast can I manage the required fund.

We are a For-Profit Technology Company that aims to solve existing social problems with the help of technology. We have already applied for registering our organization and it will take for about two more months for all the legal processes to be completed. Emergency Setting - Elaborate
Apart from Natural Disaster and Prolonged Displacements two major concerns in Bangladesh as emergency situations are POLITICAL UNREST and SOCIAL VIOLENCE AGAINST FEMALE (Eve Teasing, Abduction, Rape etc). All these situations ask for simplistic solutions where the students can stay inside their home and spending no extra resources can avail regular academic learning. Our proposed solution is precisely designed, structured and modeled for these particular situations.
Where will your innovation be implemented?
Firstly in Bangladesh. But we keenly aim to do it globally after the successful testing, monitoring and evaluation of its initial launching in Bangladesh.

The founder of our organization has a direct access to a huge network of Ashoka Fellows (World's Largest Social Entrepreneurs), Ashoka Changemaker Schools, and AshokaU Changemaker Campuses both locally and globally as he works as a consultant for Ashoka Innovators for The Public Bangladesh.We have also developed a network of 19 local NGOs and Development Organizations like BRAC, PDF, KNOW N RISE etc. We are also trying to collaborate with A2i (The Technology Division of Bangladesh Government).
