In a place where they naturally participate, the will encounter information. As they process the QR code on the play equipment, they will connect to our application's related page. We will develop the content for this app with university professors on pedagogy, ergotherapy etc. The app will feed the parent with crucial information about their children, and be an intermediate for validated resources to consult.

Families do not seek education about child's development. They are late in getting their children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Families lack the intermediary area between them and a trustworthy source to consult to.

Explain your idea (5000 characters)

We are already manufacturing and exporting playground equipment to over 60 countries. Using QR system on products isn't something new, but we now realize we can use this interaction to educate families. People just need the chance to learn. Under developped countries do not have mother education programs to help them gain knowlegde about child development. Thus they do many mistake, traumatizing children in cases they could just dodge if they knew a few important tips. More importantly, mental disabilities like autism spectrum can be severely prevented with early detection. There are key indicators to recognize this even as a baby, but since parents are unaware of the situation it can be too late until the kids are diagnosed orthat the parent ignolage the situation. This interaction through playgrounds can introduce families to correct knowlegde and further resources to learn from.

Who benefits? (1500 characters)

families - by having an intermediary for necessary knowledge their children - by enjoying the benefits of an aware parent society - less autism rate in children, early diagnosis and riht education in time to adjust them.

Raising awareness in parenting, preventing lateness of diagnosis and intervention, healthier individuals growing and making up the society as a whole.

Feasibility: Where are you with understanding the feasibility of your idea? Describe what you’ve done so far and your plans. (3000 characters)

We are a playground equipment producing company, the biggest in Turkey with 250+ employees and 60+ countries we export to. We have links with universities and government, we constantly work with them. The cost for implementing this system is not so high for us, it is a matter of prioritizing the matter and realizing the project. We share small info's on our brand's social media account. We tried QR codes before on our fitness equipment. The response was not so high, but the users of these equipment were seniors and were less likely to use technology this way. Young parents on the other hand, have plenty of time while they wait for their children at a playground, and are far more capable and interested in use of technology. We rightfully assume, the response rate would be higher with this crowd.

Business Viability: How viable is your business model? (5000 characters)

This system does not add much cost to our existing system. We are already delivering the play equipment and implementing the qr system has a minimal cost. The information reached through the qr code would be prepared by professionals. We would create a project for this together with universities. The costs for their service is the only extra part. This can be funded with support programs.

HCD: How have you used human centered design to build or refine your concept? (5000 characters)

The QR code etiquettes are meant to be on an appropriate presenter, attached to the playground main pipes with the usual pipe connection apparatus. They are meant to be on visible and easily reachable places by the parents.

Tell us more about you (3000 characters)

We already have parks all around the country and many more countries. The idea came from our research activities on disabilities and their needs in parks. I'm a designer , especially interested in social impact. I believe the children are the future so the strongest way to do a good impact on the world is through investing in raising the children in a better way for a healthier society. I study child development as a secondary university while I design playgrounds for children at our firm. Previously I had made musical instruments for early age children to dupport their development. The firm I work in is in this business for 20 years. It had been buying and selling or producing the standard chinese products most of this time, but for a few years now they are seeking to create original content to better influence kids growth.
