It's adventure day and the fairies fly away. (Illustration)

“Are they going to find food, mommy?”

“No, No, No. We are at Treasure Garden.”

“Treasure Garden, Mommy? I would love to go there!”

“Quiet Angel, look at that.

“Wow! This is beautiful mommy.”

“Twinkle, your blue dress is nice over the water.”

‘Sparkle, your orange dress shines for that matter.”

“Sprinkle, you will twirl you green dress, later.”

‘Okay Twinkle. Now everyone let’s go.”

“Where are they going to, mommy?”

“We are going to Tree Land.” (Illustration)

“Is it a nice place mommy, with sand?”

“Listen Angel, they are singing about Tree Land.”

Tree Land is a place of fun.

In it you get to play and run,

And dance away in the sand;

And pick cherries and berries,

And eat with other fairies.

“Did you like this song, Angel?”

“Yes I did Mommy. Can we sing it?”

“Sure. 1, 2, 3. Let us sing!”

“Look Angel. They are at Fairy Garden.” (Illustration)

“Wow mommy! It is so pretty.”

“We are glad you love it. Goodnight.”

How has this book been informed by early childhood language development research and evidence? (response minimum 250 Characters)

Preschools and Pre-school administrators that have looked at it love it. I looked at the resources made available on this site and it was of incredible help. I got reactions from the children I read it to and they love it. I believe it will be a good addition to any school or family library. I used tier 1 vocabulary and so it is easy for caregivers to read to the children and so it supports language development.

Please describe any familiarity you may have with Philadelphia and its residents? (optional question)

I have visited beautiful Philly and enjoyed the parks and outdoors.

How have you crafted this manuscript to resonate with and/or reflect the experiences of those living in urban contexts? (optional question)

Yes. This is an adventurous bed time story in an urban environment where children get to explore in a nature filled place like any urban city has. It is magical and calling you to urban living. The children living in Urban contexts will be able to feel and live this story. it is fun- filled just for them and their caregiver. I hope that the children will grow to have a greater appreciation for nature as they also learn colours the adventure help them have good dreams, and sleep well. Rhe book will also have stickers and sequenes as well as pages to stick the stickers for the children and the fairy and other stickers as well.
