Mama Sophia loves dancing, and always falls in love with how butterflies flutter around each other

she loves them in all kinds of colors, from the blue, purple, or white, to the orange, yellow and black ones

she sings;

Flutter,  flutter the butterflies dance

pata, pata the baby learns to dance

Golden, colors of the little butterflies

they are green, yellow, purple, and all the colors in the world......

Hurray, its mama Sophia's baby shower,

and she just got a present from the pata-pata dancer who was visiting from far away,

it was a lovely baby sweater with lots of butterfly colors

she sings;

sweater, sweater, with lots of butterflies

patty, patty, for my little baby dear

dancing, dancing, the butterflies dance

they are pink, red, white, black and all the colors in the world.....

heyyaa..... Baby Mia was born just a few days to the mummer's festival, so Mama sophia invited the pata-pata dancer to her home to meet her family and baby Mia

But before he left, he taught everyone the pata-pata dance, and baby Mia rocked and laughed as the whole family fluttered their arms like the colorful butterflies,

it was flutter, tata, butter everywhere

flutter, butter, tata all around

tata, tata the pata dancer sang

tata, tata, the butterflies dance

Grandma sings

pata, tata, butter, patty baby

 flutter,  flutter, tata, happy baby

we sing,

tata, tata, its time to say goodbye

tata, flutter its time to say goodbye.....

butter, tata, its time to say goodbye

flutter, tata, butter, its time to say goodbye......

Describe the intended vision for your early childhood book manuscript in 1-2 sentences

My goal for this book is to bring smiles to the faces of all children in Philadelphia and around the world, ignite their imagination and trigger their ability to ask creative questions, while learning the values of gratitude, family love and the various cultures around them, and all lovely colors described in the manuscript. Through this story, children and caregivers can have fun together and enjoy themselves with the flutter butter tata rhythm.

How has this book been informed by early childhood language development research and evidence? (response minimum 250 Characters)

This book uses storytelling techniques and dancing to spark children's love for learning about nature, family and their immediate environment and also connecting with all aspects of their immediate environment. It going to create an interactive learning experience for new words formation and cultural participation from the earliest stages which is also the stage for brain development and character building. The story of the the pata-pata dancer will also help caregivers act out the pata-pata dancers's character and children can be taught the dance with arms fluttering around each other just like the butterflies do.

Please describe any familiarity you may have with Philadelphia and its residents? (optional question)

I have a few friends from my professional network who live in philadelphia.

How have you crafted this manuscript to resonate with and/or reflect the experiences of those living in urban contexts? (optional question)

I hope this manuscript helps parents and caregivers to bond with their children regardless of the distance between them. The part where children learn to do the pata-pata dance creates a long lasting bond between parents and children as well as between children and their caregivers.

Hi Lily Kudzro  Welcome to the Challenge Community!
Love how your story has such an engaging and fun reference of dancing for happiness.
How might you evolve your manuscript to create rhythmic nudges of engagement for caregivers, to help them with their child’s learning development as they narrate the story ? You can find some inspiration in the Challenge Resources listed at the end of the Challenge Page to understand more nuances about writing for learning development of 0-3yr olds.
