Aunt Sammy,

Can you teach me about,

The Moon, Sun and Stars?

I would love that.

I beg your pardon, Anna?

I said I want to learn about,

The Moon, the Sun and Stars.

Can you teach me please?

Well to tell you the truth,

I think this is too much,

For a little Philadelphia girl,

your age to learn.

But I see the stars at night,

And the moon too, is so bright,

That I can still see the Lizards,

Squirrels, out in the park.

I see Leopards and Alligators at the zoo.

And the sun gives us light in the day.

Oh well Anna, sure.

I will tell you more.

The moon goes around the earth.

The earth goes around the sun.

We see the moon and stars at night;

Shining very bright.

They all give us light and warmth.

Sing this song with me.

It will teach you about,

The Moon, Sun, and Stars.

My name’s the Sun,

I shine throughout the day,

My name’s the moon,

I peep out in the night.

And my name’s the Star,

I brighten the night sky.

The Moon, the Stars and Sun, all live up in the sky,

The sun so bright, it shines from up above.

The stars, they twinkle,

They make a little winkle.

The sun, so fun,

In it you get to play;

But soon comes the moon,

And keeps the sun away,

But then returns on another day.

Yeah! I can sing this all day.
