I Love You So

My sweet darling baby

I love you so that I know –

All I need, all I want, I have.

My eyes are for seeing how beautiful you are.

My nose is for smelling your baby hair.

My lips are for kissing your soft cheeks.

My tongue is for making a funny face.

My voice is for singing you your favorite song - Shalalalala Shala Lala. Can you repeat after me?

My arms are for giving you the warmest hug.

My palms are for playing with you – clap, clap, clap.

My fingers are for counting with you – one, two, three, four, five.

My lap is for reading to you – which book do you want to read today? You choose, I read. You point, I explain. I point, you will smile, giggle, wonder.

My feet are for walking outside with you – let’s play together, and I’ll name for you everything you see and everything you point at.

And my heart, my heart, is for loving you, with all its might!

Well done. The ways you express love to the child. The concept of diversity is written all over this very straight forward, mother's love.
