Where is baby?

Where is baby?

Here he is, here he is;

Rolling on the floor,

Rolling on the floor,

From side to side;

To get the white rattle,

That mommy rolls to him.

Nine-am! It’s time to sing,

So I take out baby's socks;

Pointing to each toe I sing:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5,

Once I took your toes away,

6, 7, 8, 9, 10,

Then I gave it back this way.

Now it's time to build,

Time to build our four- step blocks.

Red, blue, yellow, green; (Illustration)

One on top each other,

Baby and his mother, (Illustration)

Happy, they are!

Now it’s bath time,

Now it's bath time,

Time for fun,

Under the sun;

Mommy pours the water,

Into baby’s tub.

Now mommy undresses baby,

And places him in the tub, (Illustration)

With the ducky-duck,

That baby reaches for.

Then mommy asks:

"Where is your nose?"

Baby points to his nose,

And he smiles.

"Where are your toes?"

Baby touches his toes, (Illustration)

And mommy washes them.

"And where is your mouth?"

"Mouth," baby answers,

And mommy cleans his mouth.

Mommy washes baby's hair, (Illustration)

Baby looks at mommy,

And he says, "Hair."

Now mommy dries the baby,

And dresses him.

Now it's feed time,

Now it's milk time,

Time for breast,

Time for rest,

Mommy looks at baby,

And says to him:

You are special,

You're my angel,

Precious little boy,

I love you, Billy.

And as you take you nap,

May God keep you.

How has this book been informed by early childhood language development research and evidence? (response minimum 250 Characters)

This manuscript uses tier 1 vocabulary, which makes it an easy read thereby helping with the languagr development of the infant. Before I conceptualized this work or actualize it, I used the online platform to help me create this work by reading the material provided in this platform and also having attended the online education I learned about theme and structure and otjer key factors which I already heard about which gave me a boost. Also this manuscript was looked at by an Administrator at the early childhood center in saint Lucia who was present while I was writing this work.
