How has this book been informed by early childhood language development research and evidence? (response minimum 250 Characters)

This manuscript uses toddler friendly words from tier 1 and 2 lists that help young children to build vocabulary. In reading the personas provided, I considered that using these tier 1 and 2 words would also make it easier for english learning caretakers to develop english vocabulary while bonding with their child. According to the Cox Campus course, A reader is Born, this type of interaction will set a foundation for life-long literacy success. 2. The concept for the manuscript includes a diverse range of baby faces and expressions. This choice was informed by the research of childhood psychologist Alison Gopnik, as well as the series, The Beginning of Life. Both suggest that babies are thoughtful in trying to determine the meaning behind the expressions of others. Babies love looking at the faces of other babies! And seeing faces like theirs in the books we read them lets them know from an early age, that they are seen, important, and a valuable part of a diverse community.

The story will have to rely upon the illustrations to show the diversity with the babies because the script does not.
Cute.
Good luck to us all.
