Building the self esteem of the disable through training ,teaching them new skills that will make them self reliance . this can be establish through building a skill acquisition center where they can learn skills that will earn them their daily needs which will help them build self esteem and reduces family rejection and abandonment .Who benefits?
The beneficiary will be male and female with disability and are interested in learning new enterprenuer skills like tailoring, shoe making, weaving, cosmetology and hair beautician alot more and their desire choice of skills. The age range will be from 10 - 50years of age approximately 30 persons in a semester that will under go the training of their choice .How is your idea unique?
I belive that every human has a desire of what he or she wants in life , that someone is disable that does not deprive them from making their choice of profession or skills they desire to go into . i so much belief on building the self esteem of the disability by allowing them decide on what they want to do so that they will put in their very best in what they are doing ,this will reduce self stigma and discrimination.Tell us more about you
Am Vivian a Public health Officer and a executive director of an Non governmental organization named Bethel Viva Foundation, we into health and social awareness creation in communities . based in Nigeria, Delta State . we have volunteer working with us when need arises . Bethel viva foundation works with other NGOs coliation in the state when need arises.What are some of your unanswered questions about the idea?
Limitation in area of funding even when i have an idea in mind with my little effort much is not done as desire but hopefully i belive that with greater support much impart will be done.Where will your idea be implemented?
