Complex encryption problematics

I wish to realize a display explaining different problematics for encryption and communication based on modern (TLS) or future (Quantum).

Sketch 1 (1,500 characters)

The design is realized in LaTeX using tikz library. With small display, around the concerned zone, the objectives will be to read easily the more interesting ciphersuits, the problem of the differents "bad" ciphersuits and the how-to of the cryptographic element. Some sketchs will be add on the side for explain the key-exchange algorithms. Along with these specific points, an explanation on how TLS works will be provided. Moreover I wish add explanations for TLS 1.3 before it really hits the market and specifically on 0-RTT problematic. This format could be animated. I attached my last version.

Sketch 2 (1,500 characters)

I work using Inkscape and CC-0 svg files to show the mechanism used in Quantum Diffie-Hellman, the left part of the sketch is an explanation on the photon polarization. The right part illustrates the process to establish a secure communication channel between two QKD users. It's of course a very simple explanation for a complex subject. The second example illustrates the post-quantum problem with illustration about algorithms using latice and explanation on the implementation of RLWE algorithm. It's a work with a colleague for the information not for the visual. Both illustration used a lot of text and should be simplified.

What have you learned through this sketching process? (1,000 characters)

I learned to used the Tikz library to display the best graphical data exploitation. Using simple tricks it's possible to realize a clear display incorporating important information through small text. I had to think a lot about the color used in this display to be conform to the classical interpretation combined with a good reading. Moreover I learned a lot about the subject I was picturing reading lot of documentation to be the more accurate I can.

Tell us more about you. (1,000 characters)

I'm an IT Security consultant working in Paris. I realized penetration testing but also numerous other audit type like configuration or code review. In my job, I had to be pedagogic and try to explain clearly to the client how a bad ciphersuit can impact the security of a website. I'm working of this draft to offer to the client a better understanding of this problematics.

Why are you participating in this Challenge? (750 characters)

I was searching how to promote visual and display as pedagogic material in cybersecurity since I begin to work. Moreover, the CC license obligation seems for me a good way to promote such work. Indeed, i wished my work could be used as far as possible and I will be eager to give the LaTeX source of the document under BSD license.
