Cafe Society.

A niave pastiche of the classic Dubonnet by AM Cassandre for the cafe society of today. We take a lot on trust in the technology we use.

Sketch 1 (1,500 characters)

A man drinks coffee in the cafe and fires up his laptop. The in-fill of the body in panel two is made up of a variety of logos for a long list of services, platforms and technologies that make up our digital lives. The final panel removes lines of the man leaving his digital twin behind. The message is that "You trust us".

I like the simple transitions between the versions to convey your point. Very effective combo of text and visuals. :)

Jen. Thanks. I am pleased with it. Trust is not the sexiest part of Cybersecurity but very important. I had another idea using the same style, but it didn’t fit the same brief as this one. I guess it’ll have to wait on the back burner for now.

This is my fave of all your entries. I'm a big fan of using text in a visual way to illustrate things, and you really nailed it here. Also i like that because the guy doesn't move, it sort of mimics that way we can get sedentary and sink into the screen, which is perhaps when people stop paying attention and get lax on security. This image does a nice job of conveying that 'slipping... slipping...' sensation. Also also, the character really has a lot of personality for using so few lines. It's got a very 'everydude' feeling that is unique to your style among other line drawings. :)

Ah, i just looked again and saw that you move his pupil jusssst a little between the first two frames. Nice touch.
