Tell us more about you. (1,000 characters)
The organization I founded in 2015: Ventura Enterprise Risk Management has helped law enforcement arrest more than 300 cyber criminals. Because of this, I have direct exposure to hundreds of different victims, as well as the perpetrators, and understand the nuances of the ecosystem intimately.
Why are you participating in this Challenge? (750 characters)
Cyber security is broken. A large part of the reason is lack of accountability. FUD is a major marketing initiative, but fails to understand the societal threat cyber crime presents. The Viking attacks in Europe as well as the rise of feudalism - turned into monarchies - is an example of how unbridled crime above a certain scale turns into society changing movements.
What is your experience with the field of cybersecurity?
I have considerable experience and/or knowledge in the cybersecurity field.
What best describes you?
I’m a cybersecurity professional with an interest in visuals.
