Quentin Blake's squiqqly, wiggly, crooked illustrations and characterizations were a staple of any childhood immersed in Roald Dhal books.

He has written, or more accurately drawn, a book for kids titled "Drawing for the Artistically Undiscovered."

It makes it clear that different is good and weird is better, "realistic" is all interpretive anyhow, and your imagination is full of the best kind of monsters.

Amazon calls his presence in the book a "shameless cheerleader" as you learn that you are in fact a perfectly competent artistic genius.

I think this book is pretty interesting for kid. I think almost all the kids love drawing. They use drawing to present their thoughts and imagination. This book is great to encourage the creativity of kids.
