Exploration of Interests
I have always liked the idea focusing on a students interests when inspiring creative confidence, which seems to be lacking in schools today. A solution to this would be school program that starts focusing on the individual student early on.
A good way to inspire creative confidence would be to create a school program or programs where the student can explore his or her own interests in a learning environment. The student would be able to figure out ways to be creative with his or her own interests with the guidance of teachers. Have the program start at an early age and continue on up through high school.
In this challenge, we want to create ideas with young people, not for them. Outline how you’re planning to involve young people or other end-users (parents, teachers, etc) in designing, iterating or testing your idea during the Ideas phase.
Have teachers set aside a half hour a day during school hours to give students time to explore there interests while being supervised , this will hopefully show the teachers what the student likes and how they learn and communicate.
