Your notebook and its creative cover!

Can you remember your notebooks after boring lessons in secondary school or high school? Especially last pages? That was a huge treasury of art!

How about bringing that to front?

The drawings we are most proud of!‘Wasted pages’ are not about to be wasted any more. Its our pride! You can decide how you notebook will look like. Imagine your notes from Maths. Lots of numbers, diagrams etc. All with a massive monster on the front page. Only you know if this is your teacher or rather scare of the maths itself!

Who ?

Notebook users, school kids, teenagers, university and college students or even adults who use the notebook for work, fun or other purposes.

Why ?

Most of the people prefer hard cover notebooks. If you wish to make it your own design, you can but on one of the inside pages. Covers are usually in laminated paper so we cant ‘edit the project’.

But our creativity is something we should be most proud of. That is what should be on the first page!

How does it inspire to cultivate creative confidence?

Most of the models are dreaming about covers of fashion magazines. They put that in portfolio as one of the biggest achievements. Let’s do the same with our work.

Drawings, sketches, scribbles, quotes, poems– whatever you like! Sky is the limit!

In this challenge, we want to create ideas with young people, not for them. Outline how you’re planning to involve young people or other end-users (parents, teachers, etc) in designing, iterating or testing your idea during the Ideas phase.

Young people, students they are already involved in this project. Everyone who can look at the back of his/her notebook and find anything written or drawn is already it that creative process. The matter is to give these people opportunity to bring that to front of the notebook. Let they work shine.

How might you envision your idea spreading across geographies or cultures so that it inspires young people around the world to cultivate their creative confidence?

The idea and the product itself is universal enough to fit in all developed countries. All schools, universities or just independent people can fit into the target.

What skills, input or guidance would you like to receive from the OpenIDEO community to help you build out or refine your idea further?

Comment, comment and once again comment. Nothing helps more than fresh view of independent people. I would also much appreciate volunteers to try the prototype. Ideally some civilians, teenagers out of design environment.
