What is it: The creative cloud is a platform where creative people can gain creative confidence by taking part in online creative projects, that once completed can be added to their online portfolio. All creative projects can be saved and shared via the cloud. Projects can be completed in your own time or as part of a deadline, the choice is yours. The cloud can also be searched by users which allows other creative cloud members to browse the cloud for creative inspiration, how to videos and other creative resources. The Creative cloud users can also create there own projects in which they can invite others to join them in a group project, or you can create a private project that you can work on in your own time.Who: creative people aged 16 and over

Where: can be accessed anywhere from home, school, or work

When: it’s an on going process, which grows as more people share their creativity with the cloud.

How does it work: Members of the creative cloud can access a variety of creative briefs, which once completed can be saved to your portfolio on the creative cloud. Online Portfolios can be shared for others users of the clouds to see.  Anyone can share a creative brief on the cloud from industry experts, teachers, lectures and student and anyone can choose to take part. The cloud will have a positive creative impact as it will allow people to develop there creative skills in a interactive way through on going or time limited creative briefs. Projects can then added to their online portfolio, which will expand as there creative confidence grows

In this challenge, we want to create ideas with young people, not for them. Outline how you’re planning to involve young people or other end-users (parents, teachers, etc) in designing, iterating or testing your idea during the Ideas phase.

Young people will be incorporated through out the design and testing process. They will be involved in the design process as they will be the one using the cloud, so I would want there opinions on layouts and what type of creative briefs they would want to be involved in. Young people will also be involved from the start, as they would need to submit creative projects onto the cloud for other user to participate in. The creative cloud allows young people to create ideas and projects which then allows other creative people to be creative as they take part in fun projects.

How might you envision your idea spreading across geographies or cultures so that it inspires young people around the world to cultivate their creative confidence?

The creative cloud can be accessed anywhere as long as your connected to the Internet. This means that there is no limit on how big the cloud can grow and expand as young people all across the world can develop there creative confidence in a independent yet interactive way. The creative cloud can also be used in schools and university’s this then can allow two schools miles apart to take part in a collaborative, creative projects together.

What skills, input or guidance would you like to receive from the OpenIDEO community to help you build out or refine your idea further?

I would want to know if the creative cloud would appeal to young people wanting to be creative and develop their skills. I would need finical support to help develop the creative cloud, along with pro typing and graphic design help and input.

Very interesting! Have you thought about what the creative projects will be like?

Thanks! I was thinking the creative projects would be designing magazine front covers, creating your own creative spaces, creating creative challenges for your community.

How about projects that make people collaborate more than usual for example designing and building something in a group and the groups are assigned so your with people who you wont normally choose to be with. I remember doing a observatory project and it enabled us to become more comfortable with people who we normally don't speak to, and at the same time it built confidence in us because at some points we had to take charge with our own bits and put them together.
