In their 'physical time', students and lecturers work together on the (work)experience and source knowledge students have acquired remotely.

Tell us about your idea

Vocational students often have a more consume than an active attitude when they are at school. During Covid19, they need to be more self starting. It becomes clear to teachers that students will work, unless they know the meaning of the things they need to work upon.
The idea is that teachers arrenge meaningfull sources te study remotely. By them selfs, in small groups or with some help of the teachers. Students also get to work in de profession of their education. The time students and teachers are togehter at school, (wich will be max 20% of the time their used to), all the experience the students have collected during that week comes togehter. The teachers expends this with meaningfull knowledges, in-depth questions etc. 

What part(s) of the pre-COVID school system do you wish to leave in the past? Why?

Teachers who only send, predetermined timetables and predetermined educational content. I wish that every vocational student will love to go to school, instead of having the feeling they need to.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to share this idea.

I design meaningfull educational experiences. This times forses teachers to really think about what it is they do at wich time and moment.
