The Pittsburgh Learning Collaborative (PLC) is an emerging cross-sector collaborative. We are a community of organizations, educators, nonprofits and funders working together to make collective best use of our region’s expertise and resources to eliminate inequities facing students. Initial planning partners for the Pittsburgh Learning Collaborative includes upwards of 30+ participating organizations. Remake Learning seeks support to facilitate 3 task groups to coordinate and deliver outputs for technology, at-home learning and out-of-school time. We support collective problem solving and planning, share communications across the task groups, and maintain vital communications with two other Big Ideas: food distribution to some of our region’s most marginalized families through school bus stops and community organizations by Community Kitchen and their partners, and the distribution of learning materials by the Education Partnership, Reading is Fundamental and their partners.
