Tell us about your idea

There are multiple advantages to this ancient method of tutelage utilized by Aristotle. Many of which apply to our new tenuous relationship to traditional schools. By learning and debating while walking, the student would have better concentration, there would be less distraction and by utilizing the brain for paying attention to the act of walking, the concepts and themes would be more lasting.

Experts think the crucial component is physical arousal. Exercise excites the body in much the same way an emotional experience does—and emotional memories are well known to be the most long-lasting. 

What part(s) of the pre-COVID school system do you wish to leave in the past? Why?

The cloistered environment and the rigid adherence to sameness.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to share this idea.

I am a lifelong designer and inventor, obsessed with my craft and elevating others, whether they be users, teammates, or clients. I pride myself on being an inspired innovator and team lead that pushed people to look beyond their expectations.
