Giving new ideas to teachers and education staff to create a more engaging learning for students in High School.
Tell us about your idea
I know that High School students in these times of tragedy are going through a lot trying to get engaged with the new form of learning. Hopefully this doesn't last long, but for now, I don't believe High School students are learning enough. I don't believe nobody is learning anything that is being assigned very well. And for this reasons, this form of education shouldn't keep being done that way.
Teachers and education staff should find a way to engage students with what's being assigned and trying to be teached. Most students do not feel like learning through a computer is for them, including myself. I don't think there is nothing like being in a physical classroom with the teacher in real life. Because of this, I propose including programs that connect students with other students and even with the teacher. Everyone interacting will make it more engaging for everyone. Doesn't have to be video calls necessarily, because not everyone can talk that way, maybe interactive activities in groups or something will engage more students into what they are doing. That way a small group of students can work together to do a cooperative assignment.

I'm a senior at Round Rock High School, and I was inspired to share this idea for my personal feelings and frustration about this situation and the form of learning they are giving students at the moment.
