Tell us about your idea

In reading about how schools are re-opening in other countries, one thing that quickly gets dropped is the arts, music, PE and STEM that students typically receive. These social activities are critical connections for many students and should not fall to the wayside. Should online learning continue, we must find a way to supply art supplies, instruments and sports equipment to our students most in need and who connect with school in these ways.

What part(s) of the pre-COVID school system do you wish to leave in the past? Why?

Notion of every student on exact same path and grade level each school year.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to share this idea.

I am passionate about not creating schools built on content only. There is much more to child development than content.

Dear Rachel and Sarah,
Yes, I can easily envision how Sarah's idea could be supported by my. I am talking about booths in which the materials would be distributed beforehand. And, containers could well be designed with bigger booths and better acoustics, e.g. for music activities.
