Tell us about your idea

L&D Office hours can help teachers that are transitioning to remote teaching for the first time.

The teacher has the opportunity to partner with an L&D professional from X organization. These organizations often are familiarized with technologies and tools to facilitate in-house trainings, and some even do it remotely as they are a global company.The opportunity lies in connecting these two groups, vulnerable teachers that are experiencing remote teaching for the first time, and L&D professionals that are willing to volunteer hours of their week to mentor and support the group.

The L&D practitioner can support the teacher, and after a couple of sessions, the teacher will feel more empowered, familiarized with the technology and ready to support their students.

What part(s) of the pre-COVID school system do you wish to leave in the past? Why?

Question and reflecting what are the future skills our students need. The school system is relying on past systems (From decades ago), and a new era is coming where we need to question what do they need to know, as we don't even know what type of jobs will exist in the future.
