The online educational platform Homework will provide access to high-quality education which corresponds to the global challenges of the 21st century and possibilities of deep intellectual and personal exploration. The Homework approach is built on key cornerstones:
— based on the design thinking methodology, develop the Homework curriculum, that will take place in multidisciplinary projects that centre on complex phenomena and develop learners’ problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.

In the framework of this Design Thinking HUB students will have a chance to join special courses, such as Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Project Management etc.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to share this idea.
I was born in a small village in Ukraine: one school, dance club and handmade club - this is the list of opportunities to explore my natural capacities and talents I had. I do remember my school learning and homework assignments - I hated them: boring and completely impenetrable. I was crying because I felt myself stupid and the most hopeless student the world has ever known. 10 years have passed since then. And, do you know what has changed? Nothing! Last year, I made a research among students to understand their needs and the quality of education. I realized that the learning problems I faced are still relevant. Both the approaches towards teaching and towards learning are out of date, with students practicing rote recitation without knowing how to use this knowledge in everyday life. Lessons and textbooks are academically dry – dampening motivation among students. Therefore, I decided to provide a different learning experience and create a new educational opportunity.
