Tell us about your idea

Remote digital education is cool if you have access to a smartphone/ laptop and internet facility. But what if you don't? Millions of students don't. So in order to access education a device needs to be created that can be used to access digital learning. And there needs to be some sort of way to share the digital information in places with no internet. One way would be through wireless mesh networks (don't know how feasible it would be, though). If you can provide some inputs on this, please leave a comment. Thanks!

What part(s) of the pre-COVID school system do you wish to leave in the past? Why?

Children being asked to sit in the same place for long periods of time. That should change. Children should be allowed to move around a bit, even during classes. Lack of social interaction during lessons. This should also change. Children should be encouraged to interact with their classmates and discuss the topics being taught, but also discuss more general stuff too.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to share this idea.

I am an industrial designer. I realised that a lot of young students are being left out of this digital learning revolution simply because they cannot access it.

What region are you located in?

Hi Abhishek Mitra ,
Thanks for your contribution to the Challenge. My name is Darry and I am a Community Coach. Your idea meets an urgent need that faces students across the globe. I would be interested in seeing a User flowchart or a simple wireframe that depicts the User experience of an ideal user persona. You can edit your submission idea.

Hi Darry Strickland , thank you for your interest . I'll see what I can do before today's deadline.

Hi Darry Strickland , I created a User Persona and Journey map but could not go into much detail due to the deadline. I have attached the same as an Image in my submission.. I have foccused more on the user's persona and the impact a solution would have and have also suggested a few directions in term of the solution. However, in terms of technical feasibility I have to do more work and even talk to someone with expertise in that field. Would love to discuss more on this with you. Thanks!
