The initiative is aimed at providing training and advisory services to teachers so that the educational teaching given to school-age children and youth whose parents want an alternative teaching that is friendly in a way where the teacher's objective is to create an environment appropriate, that allows the student to build their own knowledge from their guidelines and the teaching materials, resources and activities that it provides and where the following methodology is encouraged, conducting the 30-minute course, followed by an activity or task to be solved by the student that lasts approximately 20 minutes (monitored via webcam) and that this is complemented by a short test of 10 minutes. That is, participatory class, topic development and evaluation.

What is the need are you focusing on?

The need in which it focuses is in the absence of teacher training with marked competencies in the use of these technologies. Currently, teaching has focused on self-training; which is scarce and there is coincidence regarding the need to increase their training, and the incorporation of virtual classrooms into teaching practice is not an easily transferable experience, since many institutions have not implemented it.

What is the best example of business adaption you’ve seen in response to COVID-19?

The best example of a similar business model for virtual education is Open English, which has as a competitive advantage access to American teachers, since it means having access to a native speaker of the language guiding you in pronunciation and grammar. something that our students highly value. Another competing advantage that I find is that they offer the course 100% online, which gives the student the benefit of scalability, that is, it allows you to reach a greater number of people with a relatively small infrastructure.
