AirBnB launched Online Experiences led by inspiring hosts from over 30 countries—including Italy, Japan, Morocco, and Mexico—unlocking access to cultures and traditions from around the world. Hosts are already offering Online Experiences—like magic lessons, cooking classes, guided meditations, and more—through Zoom.

The solutions helps AirBnB hosts generate additional income during the world-wide travel bans as well as supporting people who miss social connection at home.

To ease the toll of social isolation for older adults, AirBnB is offering free access to Online Experiences to seniors by partnering with organizations in the U.S., Italy, and Spain.

What is the need are you focusing on?

Tourism is one of the major industries affected by COVID-19. Many hosts who relied on the profits from AirBnB stays and experiences are left without any income. As the tourism industry will be slowly recovering from the consequences of the virus, online experiences can ease its toll to the hosts and help generate some income while fostering human connections and positive spirit.

What is the best example of business adaption you’ve seen in response to COVID-19?
