We have started the development of our MVP, currently a lot of vulnerability has been noticed regarding access to health in Latin America, our goal is to bring the health service to any time and place using the internet. The challenges we have is the lack of resources to reach a large market, we are a group of entrepreneurs who seek with their knowledge to help people to obtain easy and quick access to health services.
We are a winning team of 2 national hackathons, we have received training and help from allies who see the great potential that this technology has and the positive impact on our society. We continue to develop this great initiative to implement it in our country and the region.
Viability: what needs to be true for you to be able to implement your idea? What stakeholders, partnerships and resources might be required to implement this solution?
For the optimal functioning of the teleconsultation service, it is necessary for doctors, hospitals and medical networks to provide their services on said platform. We are looking for a strategic alliance for them to use our service. The other part is the patients, which is the population that lacks medical services or people who seek fast and good medical attention.
As it is a digital service, we use databases, mobile application development, cloud storage, etc. They are necessary to offer medical consultations in an innovative way.
More than 70% of the population in Latin America are informal workers without medical coverage, there is a large sector without the service which can be reached with our solution.
With the creation of Medifácil we seek to help all doctors who want to provide a quality service to the population, they will be made available to everyone on the platform, significantly helping their economy for the services they perform.
With the growing use of technology we have devised a proposal that seeks to benefit the population, bringing health in these moments that we must take care of ourselves from home. Health is a fundamental right and we seek that the entire population can have access quickly, safely and easily.
Adaptability: how does your idea adapt to frequent changes within the context you are implementing, due to COVID-19? Consider the rapidly shifting government policies, and healthcare economic realities that might influence end users.
As it is a digital service, it can be accessed from wherever people are, without the risk of leaving, without contact between people, from the safety of their home or workplace.
We have devised a way which is affordable for people who have been economically affected but want to have vital access to health, in this way we not only help the most vulnerable households but also help the economy of doctors and medical networks when provide their services on our platform.
Our health systems are vulnerable, you want to contribute from the use of technology a solution to one of many problems, such as long waits for basic consultations, delays in medical appointments, avoiding crowds and possible risks when going out to public places.
Our idea seeks to benefit the Latin American population, we seek to bring the health service at any time and place where it is requested, help doctors economically and bring quality health to the general population.
