Coronavirus may be the springboard from which we launch personal responsibility for our health and our impact on the
earth and others.
Chris Kresser's instagram posts are thoroughly researched, and come from a holistic and realistic perspective that prioritizes concern for others. He is a functional medicine practitioner, teacher and researcher. He provides well researched, actionable information about how to care for yourself and optimize your immune system, and has served as an accurate reporter during this time. There is always a hopeful message in his communications, and never does he promulgate fear based reaction. Unfortunately, this is only seen by those already working along this path, and they are not the ones who most need his help.

In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?
My husband and I both immediately got on board the social distancing measures because of the way he presented this need to act. As a result, my husband skipped 3 tours at the fire station, because our daughter was sick. At this point (3 weeks ago), no one had told him to stay home, just because someone else was sick. We can't confirm she had COVID-19, but we believe she did, and he spared all the people he would have been there to save, from potential exposure.
In what ways did you share this information?
I posted the link on the FB page for the parents at my daughter's school, and I shared it via text with my friends.
What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?
The CDC informs the medical community here as well as the fire department. I believe some of the information really should be flowing the other direction. We have no idea what the actual infection rate is, or how serious in most people, until there is widespread antibody testing. We are all acting on faith, not information.
What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?
This is what my earlier attachment addresses, but my guess is that many minorities and less wealthy people only have access to fear based news, not actionable steps that empower.
