Local animators and graphic designers are using comics, animations and wiki's to disseminate information.
1. Comics & Wiki: My colleagues at i4policy.org are leveraging their mascot, Polly the Zebra to disseminate information through their networks in 44 African countries. The team has initiated a wiki (in progress) at www.pollyz.wiki which gives access to country pages and editable media files (comics and animations) that others can translate for use in their countries. It provides simple but engaging communication that can be replicated across countries.
2. Animation: Parables studio in Ghana also created a video animation to explain the situation simply and creatively.

In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?
While i was already knowledgeable about this content, it forced me to think about other creative ways to disseminate information to people who are offline or otherwise unbothered by the current situation. I also contributed to the Wiki as a result of seeing this.
What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?
The informal sector, rural areas and offline populations are getting this information but it is not leading to a change in behaviour. In some cases some communities are unsure about what to do when a case is reported.
