I wish to have a virtual platform that gathers reliable, didactic, visual, and updated information from all over the world about the virus.

I've been in four different countries during the Coronavirus outbreak from December to March: India, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Brazil.

Vietnam was the best experience because the government adopted early preventive measures, and the population was following it.

As a tourist, I had access to clear information, separated by topics, updated every day, which evokes trust. The information is compiled by the Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board as a public service for travelers in early 2020. The article is updated daily with new information from Vietnam's health, tourism and aviation authorities.

I know today we are not talking about tourism because the situation has aggravated a lot, but the format is still good.

  • Yes

In what ways did you change your behaviors as a result of this resource?

It was the first time I was receiving instructions about it, I followed correctly the instructions given by the source to keep myself safe and also others. It also helped to act correctly face the real situation of that moment without panicking because you know what to do, why you are doing it, and who to look for and what to do if you have any symptoms. From then on, hand washing, maintaining social distance, and eating only well-cooked food became a habit. It was also in Vietnam that I've learned how to correctly use masks.

Did you share this information with your network?

  • Yes

In what ways did you share this information?

Instagram's stories, WhatsApp, and talking/sharing my learning with my network from Brazil and India (I'm from Brazil, and I was living in India).

Where are you getting information around COVID-19?

  • Local Government
  • National Government
  • News: Digital
  • Social Media
  • WHO (World Health Organization)
  • Word of Mouth
  • Sharing/talking/questioning about it with friends living in different countries

What information do you feel you are missing about COVID-19?

I feel we (regular population) don't know the reality (real), and country authorities are not talking/sharing their learnings in a quick and effective way.

What populations or personas are not currently being addressed with today’s COVID-19 information?

I noticed that people in situation of vulnerability and poverty are not currently included because the information we received they can not put in practice because is not possible or very difficult to apply in their reality. I believe all should be included. We may break into groups and create content for different realities. It is also important to create a sense of collectivity and responsibility in young and economically privileged people.

What is your current profession?

I'm a communication and visual designer currently acting as Chapter Leader on Design Thinking.

In what city are you located?
